Visitors Are Welcomed at Hearts & Hands - Faith In Action
An Akron Central High School student recently completed a Photo Essay highlighting the work of the agency. Visitors are welcome to view the display at the offices of Hearts and Hands, 50 John Street, Akron, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9AM - 1PM.
Celebrity Waiters' Night
The 4th Annual Celebrity Waiters' Night was held at four Akron area restaurants in March. Local "celebrities" skipped the red carpet and got right to work as volunteer waiters and waitresses. All tips from some very generous diners were donated to Hearts and Hands: Faith in Action. Plans are in the works to hold a similar event with the Alden community. Details will be posted to this website as soon as they become available.
